Every Thursday/Friday 6/7/18 – 6/27/18 – (2-6pm) Stanley Krohmer : An Obsession with Color Gallery Hours – Part II
10th West Gallery is pleased to present An Obsession with Color – Part II with artist Stanley Krohmer from Grand Rapids, MI for his first solo exhibition in Indianapolis. Turning away from photography, Krohmer began to experiment with painting. Channeling responses from his life and inner-self, Krohmer developed into an abstract artist. For the past ten years he has been producing work filled with color, texture, and emotion. Join the 10th West Gallery every Thursday and Friday during our open gallery hours!
In conjunction to our newest show, view new works from artists within the 10th West Stable of Artists. Members include Susan D. Brewer, Philip H. Campbell, Autumn Keller, Cagney King, David Kleeman, Anne McKenzie Nickolson, Richard Emery Nickolson, Mary Lou Dooley Waller and invited artists John Ross and Katrina J. Murray.

Panel Discussion: Collecting Contemporary Art in Indianapolis 6/28/18 (7 pm)

Join 10th West Gallery as we participate as guest panel participants at Newfields on June 28th, at 7 p.m., in The Toby Theater. We will be joined by Shannon Linker, Gallery Director of 924 & Vice President of the Arts Council of Indianapolis and Ian Kime, Director of Kime Contemporary. Mid-Month Reception for Stanley Krohmer: An Obsession with Color – Part I
6/21/18 (6-9pm) –  Join 10th West Gallery as we host a mid-month reception for our Grand Rapids artist, Stanley Krohmer. Krohmer’s canvases are diverse. Some are filled with bright, bold colors, while others are quiet, calm and gentle. On Thursday June 21st, from 6p to 9p, visit the gallery for an evening reception with light refreshments!

Turning away from photography, Krohmer began to experiment with painting. Channeling responses from his life and inner-self, Krohmer developed into an abstract artist. For the past ten years he has been producing work filled with color, texture, and emotion. Join the 10th West Gallery for a  2-Part exhibition, with Part I opening on Collector’s Night as well as a Q & A with Krohmer at 7p.m. hosted by Quintana / Behringer.

In conjunction to our newest show, view new works from artists within the 10th West Stable of Artists. Members include Susan D. Brewer, Philip H. Thursday 4/26/18 – Raymond James Stutz Artists Open House Silver Anniversary Preview Night– This year the Raymond James Stutz building will host an Open House Preview Night on April 26th, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. This event will allow visitors to preview the Open House, with speciality crafted cocktails, food, and behind the scenes tours of artist’s spaces.  For tickets, to the April 26th event please visit Stutz Preview Tickets

Friday & Saturday 4/27/18 – 4/28/18 – 25th Silver Anniversary Raymond James Stutz Artists Open House – Celebrate 25 years of art, music, food and fun! The one-of-a-kind works of more than 60 Indianapolis-area artists will be on display and for sale. The Silver Anniversary Open House is all about silver! This two-day event celebrates the 25th year that the Stutz artists have welcomed guests to the studios where they create their art all year long. Both the artists and the building will be decked out in silver to celebrate. Each artist is creating a work of art inspired by silver to be featured in their studio. Artists will have offer paintings, photography, furniture, sculpture, jewelry and more for purchase.  $12 advance tickets available at the Stutz Business office, 1060 N. Thursday 4/5/2018 – Scale: Redux – Collector’s Night – (5-9pm)  The 10th West Gallery is proud to host “Scale: Redux”-Collector’s Night on April 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. This exhibition is a continuation of our current show at 10th West Gallery. The show highlights artists from the Indy Collective including Susan D. Brewer, Philip H. The exhibit statement written by Bret Waller suggests “the word scale has multiple meanings…but now I’ve come to see it as a directive to us –the exhibition’s viewers.” The show highlights artists from the Indy Collective including Susan D. Thursday 2/22/18 -Last Call of Intense Color-(5-8pm) – If you missed our opening night at the 10th West Gallery, we invite you to our Last Call of Intense Color. Explore the color fields of artists: Susan D. Brewer, Anne McKenzie and Richard Emery Nickolson, Cagney King, Mary Lou Dooley Waller, Stanley Krohner, and Kristy Hughes. The 10th West gallery will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. We encourage all of our 10th West patrons to come and see the exhibit one more time before it comes down!

Thursday 1/18/2018 – Intense Colors Opening (5-9pm) – Join the 10th West Gallery for our “Intense Colors” Opening Night. Experience the use of intense colors from various artists through their own perspective. The show highlights artists from the Indy Collective plus invited guests from Indiana, Georgia, and Michigan. We welcome Susan D. Brewer, Cagney King, Stanley Krohmer (MI), Kristy Hughes (GA), Anne McKenzie Nickolson, Richard Emery Nickolson, and Mary Lou Dooley Waller. The exhibit runs January 18th through Feburary 27th, 2018.

Thursday 12/28/2017 – Celebration of 2017 (5-9pm) – This is our public Gallery evening event to celebrate 2017 and to look forward to 2018. Attendees this evening can join various artists within the Indy Collective to celebrate 2017 and have an opportunity to purchase any number of dozens of pieces of contemporary fine art. Attendees can also become “Founding Supporters” of the Gallery. Speak with Susan Brewer, gallery director, for more information.

Friday 12/1/2017 – Public Grand Opening (5-10pm) – This is our first public Gallery opening, whereby attendees that evening can join various artists within the Indy Collective to celebrate the opening of the gallery and have an opportunity to purchase any number of dozens of pieces of contemporary fine art.  Attendees can also become “Founding Supporters” of the Gallery by way of an initial showing of financial support.

Thursday 11/30/2017 – Collector’s Night (5-9pm) – This is an invitation-only event, whereby attendees that evening can join various artists within the Indy Collective to celebrate the opening of the gallery and have the first opportunity to purchase any number of dozens of pieces of contemporary fine art.  Attendees can also become “Founding Supporters” of the Gallery by way of an initial showing of financial support.

Thursday 11/2/2017 – VIP Preview Party (5-8pm) – This was an invitation-only event, whereby various artists within the Indy Collective shared their vision for the Gallery, which will open to the public in early December.  Attendees can become “Founding Supporters” of the Gallery by way of an initial showing of financial support.
