UPCOMING EVENTS:

3/1/19 through 3/29/19 – Terrain Photography Exhibition

10th West Gallery is pleased to welcome for their March exhibition nationally acclaimed Illinois photographers Chehalis Hegner & Peg Shaw. Both artists utilize the human form to enhance the absence of space, either veiled or highlighted with natural, rural landscapes. Hegner invites the audience to weave between surrealistic landscapes and elaborate human portraiture.   Shaw’s human forms emerge or dissolve through grit,
bare terra, and mixed media elements.
In conjunction to our March show, the 10th West Gallery team is pleased to welcome Indianapolis based photographer Don Fitzpatrick as our featured artist. Alongside Fitzpatrick, are acclaimed artists Patrick Driscoll, Cagney King, Katrina J. Murray, John Ross, Sivavis, Laura Stennett, and Shamira Wilson.

Opening Reception – Collectors’ Night – Thursday 12/6/18 –
ONE YEAR AT 10TH WEST GALLERY (6-9pm) :
In November of 2017 we opened our doors for our first soft opening featuring members of the group formerly known as the Indy Collective and opened to the public that December. From there, we continued to change and mold our monthly exhibitions and lock down our mission to what 10th West Gallery is today.  One Year at 10th West Gallery is a celebration of all the artists who have supported our vision and have truly brought phenomenal talent from inside and outside of Indiana to exhibit with us. Thank you for a successful first year.

Thursday/Fridays 11/9/18 – 11/30/18  (2-6pm) – Look Both Ways – Open Weekly
The methods of experimenting with light, geometric form and the illusion of space come together for our November exhibition “Look Both Ways”. We are thrilled to feature local artists Caroline Tabac and Andrea Townsend alongside regional Columbus, OH artist JT Thompson. The geometric surrealism of Thompson’s oil paintings pieced together with the constructed urban abstract work of Townsend and freeform sculpture of Tabac gives our patrons a comprehensive group show featured on our rotating side.

Coinciding with our newest show, view new works on our represented side featuring the 10th West artists Philip H. Campbell, Cagney King, Mary Lou Dooley Waller and invited artists Patrick Driscoll, Katrina J. Murray, John Ross, Sivavis, and Shamira Wilson.
